Job Description of a Store Supervisor
- Exemplify the elements of SVDP: Spirituality, Friendship and Service in all phases of work
- Maintain the profitability of the store
- Supervises the unloading and loading of the trucks from the warehouse and reports any discrepancies
- Supervises the storing/pricing of furniture and clothing in the store
- Maintains adequate inventory levels of clothing/furniture
- Trains, supervises, and develops store personnel as required
- Develops and implements policies and procedures for store operations, personnel, and community relations
- Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise
Education/ Experience
- High School Diploma
- At least 1 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
- Prior retail experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
