Job Summary
The Door man/security for business & personal plays a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of the premises while providing exceptional customer service to guests and residents. This position involves monitoring entry points, assisting with guest inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The Door Person is often the first point of contact for visitors, making professionalism and attentiveness essential.
Duties
- Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter.
- Greet guests and residents warmly, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises to identify any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
- Willing to take the initiative to make the venue & personal safe.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Document any incidents or irregularities in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with loss prevention measures by observing and reporting any potential theft or vandalism.
Skills
- Certification in security or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Experience in law enforcement is advantageous.
- Proficient in CPR and first aid practices.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
