Diesel Mechanic

On behalf of our client, we are currently searching for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established organisation working on high-impact infrastructure projects across the US.

The role
As a Diesel Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be manage the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of our diverse fleet. In this role, you will work on a variety of assets, including heavy construction machinery, agricultural/utility equipment, transport trailers, and specialized trenchless drilling systems.

What it takes
- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with heavy equipment, diesel engines, or heavy trailers.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; experience with hydraulics, drive trains, and diagnostics is highly desired.
- Welding Skills: Prior welding experience to assist with asset and trailer repairs.
- Tools: Ability to provide your own basic mechanic hand tools.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy to input and track daily maintenance records.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to safely move and operate heavy machinery for testing purposes.
