We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Recreation and Activities to join our team at Gurwin Jewish ~ Fay J. About the Role:
As our new Director of Recreation and Activities, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs and activities that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being among our residents. Your expertise will help create a vibrant community where residents can thrive and enjoy the benefits of assisted living.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement recreational programs and activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
Collaborate with internal departments, including Dining, Wellness, and Social Services, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care
Manage and coordinate recreational staff and contractors to ensure seamless program delivery
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and vendors to enhance programming and services
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality services
Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
