American Traveler is seeking an experienced Infusion RN for a day shift position in Vermont requiring port experience and a VT or compact RN license.

Work in a hospital-based Infusion Center within a community, not-for-profit, acute care, critical access hospital
-
Care for approximately 15-20 infusion patients per day
-
Administer IV medications and therapies following facility and INS standards

Coordinate scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews
-
Communicate with providers, payers, and care teams to manage infusion services
-
Day shift schedule, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
-
13-week assignment length
-
Active VT or multi-state compact RN license required
-
Minimum of 2 years RN experience required

1 year acute care experience preferred
-
BSN required
-
Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

CRNI certification preferred

Infusion RN and port experience required
-
Flu shot required with no exceptions

Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and assess understanding

Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the EHR, medication administration logs, and transfusion records
-
Located in a rural community without public transportation or rideshare services available, so reliable personal transportation is essential

Housing is the traveler's responsibility, though local housing resource lists can be provided
