American Traveler is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist requiring RPSGT certification and pediatric sleep testing experience for a night shift position in an outpatient sleep lab.

Acute care hospital outpatient sleep lab setting located off the main hospital campus
-
10-bed sleep lab with 2 beds designated for pediatric testing
-
Perform diagnostic sleep testing including PAP therapy titration
-
Patient duties include check-in, room setup, patient hookup, charting, and equipment cleaning
-
Standard patient ratio is 2:1, with 1:1 ratio for patients younger than 3 years old
-
Uses EPIC EMR, Natus XLTech Sleep Works, and ResMed S9 devices
-
Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
-
Lab operates Sunday through Thursday; shifts may not always be consecutive and may include split shifts
-
No call requirements and no floating to other units
-
Employee will not work alone

Minimum of 1 year of sleep tech experience required

RPSGT certification required

BLS certification required
-
Pediatric sleep testing experience required

EPIC EMR experience preferred

License required if applicable

Orientation includes modified EMR training and one shift shadowing another sleep tech

Facility provides gray scrubs

Location features flat lot parking directly outside the building with a secured entrance

No on-site cafeteria available

Limited scoring required during data collection
