Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bobtail Fuel Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves delivering fuel to local residential, commercial, and agricultural customers while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a fuel truck to deliver gasoline, diesel, or other fuels
- Load and unload fuel in accordance with safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery and log records
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries
- Follow all DOT, state, and company safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid CDL class A or B with two years driving experience preferred
- Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements (or ability to obtain)
- Hold a D.O.T medical certificate
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
- Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Experience with fuel delivery or tanker driving preferred
- Knowledge of local routes and customer service skills
