We're seeking an energetic, creative, and results-driven Marketing & Party Manager to increase birthday party bookings, group events, memberships, and overall park attendance through community outreach, local marketing, and exceptional event execution. This role is responsible for building strong relationships within the community while ensuring every birthday party and group event delivers an outstanding guest experience.

Position ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Business Development
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to increase birthday party bookings, group events, memberships, and overall park traffic.
- Build relationships with schools, preschools, daycare centers, churches, youth organizations, homeschool groups, sports leagues, and community organizations.
- Conduct regular visits to schools, businesses, apartment communities, and local organizations to promote birthday parties, field trips, fundraisers, and group events.
- Establish partnerships with local businesses for employee appreciation events, team-building activities, customer appreciation events, and corporate outings.
- Coordinate and promote fundraising programs with schools, churches, and nonprofit organizations.
- Represent the park at community events, festivals, fairs, networking events, and business expos.
- Develop referral programs and strategic partnerships that generate recurring business.
- Create and maintain relationships with event planners, community leaders, and local influencers.
- Plan seasonal marketing campaigns and promotional events to drive bookings during slower periods.
- Identify new business opportunities and create outreach strategies to grow revenue.
- Track outreach activities, marketing results, and sales performance using CRM or lead management systems.
- Meet or exceed monthly goals for party bookings, group events, fundraising events, and memberships.
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Respond promptly to party and group event inquiries via phone, email, website, and social media.
- Convert leads into confirmed birthday parties, school events, corporate events, field trips, and private park rentals.
- Promote birthday packages, memberships, arcade packages, food options, and party enhancements.
- Follow up with prospective customers to maximize booking conversions.
- Maintain relationships with previous guests to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
- Collect customer testimonials and online reviews to support marketing efforts.
Party & Event Management
- Manage all weekend birthday parties and special events.
- Coordinate party schedules to ensure smooth event operations.
- Assign and supervise party hosts to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Welcome birthday families and ensure every event exceeds customer expectations.
- Prepare party rooms according to company standards.
- Coordinate food service, decorations, cake timing, and event flow.
- Ensure parties remain on schedule while maintaining a fun and energetic atmosphere.
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Inspect party rooms before and after each event.
- Coordinate large group events including schools, churches, camps, corporate events, and private park rentals.
- Work closely with operations to ensure adequate staffing and event readiness.
Community Outreach
- Maintain regular communication with schools, PTO/PTA organizations, churches, youth groups, and local nonprofits.
- Develop partnerships that generate recurring field trips, fundraisers, camps, and birthday referrals.
- Organize community appreciation events and open houses.
- Coordinate promotional visits with mascot appearances, giveaways, and park information.
- Build relationships with local media and community organizations to increase brand awareness.
- Assist with social media content by capturing photos and videos from parties and community events.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, outreach activities, and event calendars.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
- Monitor marketing budgets and promotional spending.
- Track ROI on marketing campaigns and community partnerships.
- Assist with developing promotional materials, flyers, and event marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all customer information is accurately entered into booking systems.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, sales, hospitality, event planning, or family entertainment preferred.
- Strong sales and business development skills with a proven ability to generate new business.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable speaking with business owners, school administrators, church leaders, and community organizations.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent project and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience with social media marketing is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with party setup.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, school holidays, and special events.
