Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and advocacy for clients navigating complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation rights, and spousal support. Duties
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and spousal support negotiations
- Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and court pleadings
- Conduct legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on family law statutes and case law
- Advocate for clients in court depositions, hearings, and trials with confidence and professionalism
- Negotiate settlements that align with clients’ best interests while maintaining a focus on amicable resolutions when possible
- Manage case files efficiently using legal case management systems to track progress and deadlines
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain legal options, procedural steps, and potential outcomes
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in family law cases with a strong understanding of procedural law and statutory regulations
- Excellent research skills utilizing Westlaw or LexisNexis for comprehensive legal analysis
- Demonstrated ability in legal negotiation, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy
- Familiarity with related areas such as estate planning, employment law, personal injury law, and general litigation is a plus
- Strong writing skills for drafting motions, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
- Exceptional client communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations empathetically
- Experience with legal motion preparation, procedural law knowledge, and case management software is preferred

Pay: $95,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
