Sensor Systems, a segment of PSI’s Detection Systems Division and located just north of Boston in Wilmington, MA, seeks a skilled engineering technician for employment immediately in support of production projects for mobile and static radiological and nuclear (R/N) material detection systems. The candidate will work directly with the engineering team to assemble next generation R/N systems and improve manufacturing procedures and documentation.
Required qualifications:
- Demonstrated hands-on, problem-solving experience
- Experience with mechanical and cable assemblies, wiring, and electronics
- Solid ability to communicate concepts, ideas, and results to the team and customers
- Proficient with Microsoft office
- Experience with hand tools
- Experience with supply chain management
- Experience with product inspection and quality control
- Willingness to learn on-the-job skills and wear multiple “hats”
- Desirable: Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks

Pay Range: The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $75K–$100K. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, and specialized skills.
