The Learning Center, a division of Innovative Health Care, is seeking an energetic, caring individual to be a Tech at our Adult Developmental Disabilities Center!
We help families and individuals cope with all types of developmental disabilities. We offer support in the areas of challenging behaviors, school inclusion, community integration, difficulties in transitioning, socialization and communication, and life skill training.
Experience is not needed, we provide training. No nights or weekends required!
General responsibilities include:
- Provide supervision and life skill training;
- Implement a behavior plan;
- Transport/accompany participants to activities in the community;
- Assist the participant in taking part in social/leisure activities;
- Duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- 18 years or older;
- High school diploma or GED;
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation;
- CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to certify;
- Able to pass fingerprint-based background check.
