Job Description: Enchanter/Barista
The Enchanter is the face of Wolf and Mermaid Enchanted Roasters. We need energetic, outgoing, self-starting professionals. The requirements of an Enchanter include “hard” and “soft” skills. The soft skills include the following:

- Greet people in a friendly manner. Make customers feel at home by being engaging, interested, and kind.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, promptly, and kindly with coworkers and owners regarding issues, feedback, suggestions, etc.
- Show initiative in improving process, learning about coffee, looking for ways to better address our customers’ needs
Hard skills include the following:
- Prepare espresso drinks including lattes, specialty drinks, etc.
- Assist with food prep
- Serve wine and beer
- Serve small bites
- Learn and be able to explain all varieties of coffee, beer and wine that we serve (need to be 18 or older)
Open, close and set up coffee shop. This may involve some of the following:
- Set up and charge coffee pots
- Remove chairs from tables
- Take out garbage
- Clean bathrooms
- Fill deli case with goodies
- Mop floors
- Set out signage
- Wash dishes
- Taking inventory
Experience and/or willingness to learn/participate in Social Media and Marketing is a plus.

The “soft skills” listed above are the most important prerequisites for this job. We will train you to perform all of the “hard skills.” Previous experience is a plus- but a kind, energetic, motivated person is preferred- no matter what their experience is.
