JS Apparel & Signs is an established design company based locally in Salem, OR. We are looking for a graphic designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. Screen printing, vehicle graphics, signs, banners and a variety of apparel are a few of our known specialties. What is the role of a graphic designer? The graphic designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of all our complete finished products.
Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Create print ready files for various media
- Manage various projects
- Communitcate with customers
- Set up media for printing for various printers.
Skills
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Knowledge in AI, PSD and CDR
- Must be team player in all aspects
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
