Dream Cleaning Company is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented W-2 Part-Time Janitor to support our cleaning operations in Antioch and Pittsburg. This is not a contractor or 1099 position - you will be classified as a W-2 employee, eligible for worker's compensation, proper payroll processing, tax withholding, and legal employment protections. This position is only 2 hours per day to start (1 hour each at two different locations), but more hours and shifts will become available as our company continues to grow. As this expansion happens, any acceptance of additional shifts would be entirely up to you. We are looking for someone to stay with us long term!
Job Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Tidy and maintain office spaces
- Clean kitchen and break room areas
- Empty trash and restock supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a W-2 employee
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Available to work M-F evening after 5pm, up to 2.5 hours per day
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to take direction and work independently
- Must be able to pass a background check
Compensation & Hours:
- $25 per hour
- W-2 employment status with payroll and tax withholding
- 10 hours per week (~2 hours/day)
- Opportunity for additional hours as shifts become available
