Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle. This role requires the driver to communicate effectively with passengers and ensure their comfort during transit.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as handling any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the shuttle vehicle, performing routine inspections and necessary maintenance checks.
- Assist passengers with heavy lifting of personal belongings as needed.
- Communicate effectively with managers and other team members regarding schedules, routes, and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Ensure timely arrivals and departures according to established schedules.
Requirements
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or similar roles is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with passengers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is a plus.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
