ASSISTANT BUSINESS DIRECTOR

The Assistant Business Director is responsible for ensuring a positive and professional impression of our community, assisting residents, family members, and guests as needed, providing support and direction to staff and department heads. Working directly with the Business Director, this position oversees all business operations, and maintains an open and friendly environment for everyone. This position requires a professional appearance and demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage expectations, and provide accurate information and calm direction in a multitude of situations and busy environment!
Requirements:
· High school diploma
· 3-5 years successful office administration experience
· Experience with payroll record-keeping and HR procedures
· Willingness to work flexible hours
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Able to manage projects and direct involved staff
· Fluent computer and keyboard skills; a general knowledge of office machines
· Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and other spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Self-directed with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines
· Process and maintain all personnel, financial, and operational records
· Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information, upholding requirements for proprietary and classified information
· Create and maintain official documents, utilizing electronic systems and databases
· Project management and oversight, with the ability to delegate responsibilities across departments as needed
· Process payroll semi-monthly, gather and tabulate time records for employees daily
· HR duties include, but are not limited to: Interviewing potential new hires, processing personnel paperwork, evaluating staff performance and provide coaching/guidance as needed
· Provide a healthy, inclusive, positive atmosphere for staff, residents, and family
· Evaluate situations appropriately, provide necessary assistance and support to bring about successful resolution, able to handle difficult conversations with care and maturity
· Work with the Front Office Director to process Expense reports, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable in accordance with company’s accounting standards and policies
· Ability to handle a multi-faceted job while completing normal duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
