We're looking for Remote Audio Mixers to mix streams audio for live events. The people who help us build it now are the people who'll shape how it works — and who get first call as volume grows.
If you've got a home studio, solid mixing chops, and pockets of time you'd like to turn into income, keep reading.
What you'll do:
- Mix and master [podcast episodes / dialogue / music beds / Houses of Worship / Funeral/ Music Venues] to a consistent, broadcast-ready standard
- Level and balance multi-speaker recordings so nobody gets buried
- Flag problem recordings early so we can fix them at the source
- Follow cue sheet and mute/unmute channels accordingly
- You'll only be riding faders, muting unmuting channels and adding FX in sometimes, no processing (EQ, compression, gating, and loudness normalization) or routing involved though knowledge of those are plusses.
Why people take this gig
The hours bend to your life. Take the projects that fit your week. Some weeks that's one, some weeks it's five. No standing meetings, no set schedule.
Real supplemental income. Steady, predictable per-project pay for work you can do in the evenings or on weekends.
Room to grow. Volume is increasing as the feature rolls out. Early contributors get first pick of projects, and there's a path to lead/QC work as the team expands.
You keep your setup. Your DAW, your room, your plugins, your process. We care about the output.
