We are seeking a Registered Nurse to in a contingent capacity as a circulator at our ASC locations. This role will be scheduled, on average, between 10 and 20 hours per week. Schedule is flexible and as needed. The OR Circulating Nurse will be responsible for the assisting in procedures as well as pre and post-op care and some administrative duties. This position is regularly scheduled at our ASC locations in both Warren and Westland; all qualified applicants will be able to work at both locations.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Assist in the OR
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields, especially in an ASC setting
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients, providers, and others
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
