Veterinary Receptionists provide the critical first impression of our hospital and are the bridge between our clients and our clinical team. The ideal candidate possesses stron communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while creating a welcoming experience for every pet and client who walks through our doors.

Job responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
- Checking clients in and out while accurately processing payments
- Answering multi-line phones promptly and professionally, addressing client inquiries and directing calls appropriately
- Assisting clients with medication refill requests and respond to client inquiries
- Maintaining patient records and documentation
- Keeping the reception area clean, organized and welcoming
- Handling difficult or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
- Educating clients on hospital policies, preventative care recommendations and follow-up care as directed by the medical staff
- Most importantly, ensuring every client feels cared for throughout their visit
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess strong computer and client communication skills
- Exhibit excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Have a passion for working with animals and for providing exceptional care to both pets and their families
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate during emotional or stressful situations
- Familiarity with veterinary software and terminology is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

- Receptionist: 2 years (Required)
