Full-Time Maintenance Technician – Native American village
Location: Native American village, Alabama
Private Indigenous Village is seeking a dependable, self-motivated full-time Maintenance Technician to help care for our unique 6,000-acre property. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in solving practical problems, and appreciates working in a peaceful natural environment.
The responsibilities will vary from day to day and may include:
- General property maintenance and repairs.
- Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Operating and maintaining power tools.
- Chainsaw operation and tree or trail maintenance.
- Assisting with construction and improvement projects, such as fences, truck/vehicle maintenance.
- Operating or assisting with heavy equipment (experience preferred).
- Maintaining cabins, buildings, roads, and shared facilities.
- Helping preserve the safety and beauty of the property.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is experienced with general maintenance and repair work.
- Is comfortable using power tools and outdoor equipment.
- Has experience with chainsaws (preferred).
- Has experience operating heavy machinery or is willing to learn.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Is physically capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Is dependable, adaptable, and takes initiative.
- Has a respectful, positive attitude and works well with others.
