American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a long-term care setting, requiring current LPN licensure, CPR, and ACLS certification.

Work in a long-term care (LTC) setting

Current, active LPN license required if applicable

Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program

Minimum 1 year of experience required

CPR certification required

Basic computer skills with ability to learn facility-specific programs

Visual, auditory, and manual dexterity to assess patients and administer care
-
Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, including personal hygiene assistance and care plan updates

Administer medications and treatments, including respiratory therapy modalities, and maintain accurate documentation
-
Apply and enforce infection control policies and practices
-
Organize time and prioritize care effectively, exercising sound clinical judgment
-
Report changes in patient condition to the RN and respond appropriately in emergency situations
-
Provide patient instruction during hospitalization and at discharge
-
Assist with orientation and training of new staff and students
-
Maintain professional competence through continuing education
