Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and semi-skilled Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team who will be dedicated to maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our communities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of groundskeeping and maintenance tasks independently that ensures our homes and grounds remain inviting and well-maintained. Your experience with routine maintenance will be vital in delivering exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work both indoors and outdoors while making an impact every day on our tenants and communities.
Responsibilities
- Work independently to keep our grounds free of trash and debris
- Accompany vendors into occupied and vacant homes
- Perform inspections of buildings and grounds on a routine basis
- Assess and troubleshoot routine maintenance issues
- Perform repairs or replacements related to appliances, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, paint, punch, and drywall
- Make recommendations for vendor assistance
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Familiarity with routine maintenance, groundskeeping, and performing of inspections
- Ability to problem-solve and make recommendations for repairs vs replacements and keeping repairs inhouse vs contracting outside vendor work
- Excellent stamina with the ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Valid experience with groundskeeping, appliance repair, plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC, paint, punch, and drywall
- Have dependable transportation
- Possess good communication and customer service skills

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
