American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 2+ years of experience for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) day shift position.

Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting

Adult patient population with potential for pediatric patients
-
13-week assignment
-
Day shift schedule rotating between 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts (7:00-19:30)
-
Rotating 36/48 schedule totaling 84 hours per two-week pay period

Floating required within scope of practice
-
Every other weekend required
-
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Minimum 2 years of experience required

RRT license required (CRT accepted); license required if applicable

Active Compact or State License in hand required at time of consideration

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

Previous LTAC experience preferred

Two professional references required, including one Charge or Higher and one Supervisor reference, both completed within the last year

Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted

Must be willing to work either a major or minor holiday

Up to 7 days of RTO considered if presented upfront with no changes accepted

Travelers who have worked one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return

Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of an offer
