Job Title: Operations Support Analyst
Role Summary
The Operations Support Analyst will support 3PL warehouse operations by driving performance visibility, KPI reporting, and execution of operational improvement initiatives. This role bridges analytics and on-floor execution—ensuring data-driven insights translate into measurable operational outcomes across productivity, cost, service, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. KPI Reporting & Performance Management

Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly KPI dashboards (e.g., productivity, SLA adherence, cost per unit, inventory accuracy)

Extract, validate, and analyze data from WMS (e.g., Blue Yonder), labor systems, and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel)

Identify performance gaps and root causes using data trends and operational insights

Provide concise executive-level summaries with actionable recommendations

Support monthly business reviews (MBRs) and customer reporting
2. Operational Analytics & Continuous Improvement

Translate operational challenges into structured analysis (labor, throughput, capacity, bottlenecks)

Support labor planning, forecasting, and productivity tracking models
-
Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to improve efficiency

Partner with site leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and productivity gains
-
Track and report benefits realization from improvement initiatives
3. Project Execution & Floor Operationalization

Support implementation of new processes, SOPs, and operational changes on the warehouse floor
-
Act as a bridge between design (process) and execution (operations)
-
Lead or support small-to-medium scale projects (e.g., new client onboarding, process changes, layout improvements)

Ensure successful adoption of new processes through training, validation, and follow-up

Monitor post-implementation performance and stabilize operations
4. Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Operations, Engineering, IT, and Customer teams

Support client-facing reporting and ad hoc data requests
-
Align with site leaders to ensure reporting reflects operational realities
5. Data Integrity & Reporting Governance

Ensure accuracy and consistency of KPI definitions and reporting logic
-
Standardize reporting templates and processes across sites where applicable
-
Maintain documentation for data sources, calculations, and assumptions
Qualifications & Experience
-
2–5+ years of experience in 3PL, warehousing, or fulfillment operations analytics
-
Strong understanding of warehouse operations (inbound, inventory, outbound, returns)
-
Experience with WMS platforms (Blue Yonder preferred)

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling); Power BI or similar tools preferred

Proven ability to translate data into actionable operational insights

Experience supporting or executing operational projects on the floor
