Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for precision machining of metal components using manual tools and machinery, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently.
Fabrication/Welding experience a plus.
Duties
- Operate manual machining equipment such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines to produce precision parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications
- Set up and calibrate manual machines, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement instruments for quality control
- Use hand tools and machining tools to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, drilling, and finishing metal or plastic parts
- Perform machine setup procedures, including tooling selection and fixture installation, to optimize machining processes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; operate forklifts and power tools as needed for material handling and assembly tasksRequirements
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist with strong proficiency in manual machining techniques on lathes, mills, grinders, and other equipment
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, M-code programming basics, and GD&T principles
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing metal machining processes, tooling selection, machine setup, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machining parameters accurately

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
