Job Overview
Vanderbilt Maids is seeking a Cleaning Team Lead in Estero, FL, to lead 1–3 cleaners. We need a reliable, humble, and proactive problem-solver who is obsessed with customer satisfaction and capable of training others to meet high cleaning standards.
Duties
- Lead a team of 1 to 3 cleaners, ensuring work meets standards and exceeds customer expectations.
- Train new employees on cleaning protocols, techniques, and quality standards.
- Conduct final inspections and guide cleaners on improvements.
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and changing bedding.
- Drive the company-provided vehicle and maintain an organized environment.
- Greet customers with a professional attitude and proactively solve problems.
- Continuously seek ways to improve cleaning techniques and equipment efficiency.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: 2 years of experience in a domestic help or hospitality environment (house cleaning company, hotel, country club, or resort).
- Driver’s License: Valid license and clean driving record (Required to drive company-provided transportation).
- Quality Control: Exceptional eye for cleaning detail; comfortable doing final inspections and touch-ups.
- Team Management: Ability to lead 1–3 cleaners and train new employees on protocols and quality standards.
- Communication: Excellent skills to interact with clients and colleagues in English (Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus).
- Safety: Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and near environmental allergens (dust, pet dander).
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using smartphones, tablets, and computers.

- Pay Rate: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour. With tips and bonuses, our Team Leads easily earn between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour!
