Overview
RGV Fabricators is currently hiring a Welder/Fabricator to join our team at our Pharr, TX shop. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and works well as part of a team.
This position primarily involves shop fabrication, including cutting, fitting, welding, grinding, and assembling a variety of custom metal projects. While most work is performed in our shop, there will be occasions where employees are required to travel to mobile welding jobs or residential projects. Candidates should be comfortable working in different environments and be willing to assist wherever needed.
Previous welding or fabrication experience is preferred but not required. Experience with MIG welding, reading a tape measure, operating fabrication tools, and interpreting basic drawings is a plus. Applicants should have a strong work ethic, reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work safely around equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding and metal fabrication on a variety of projects.
- Read and accurately use a tape measure.
- Cut, grind, fit, and assemble metal materials.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
- Read and interpret basic shop drawings and measurements.
- Maintain clean, accurate welds that meet company quality standards.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Assist with mobile welding and residential welding projects when required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance while representing the company on job sites.
- Perform other shop duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding/ fabricating is preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
