The Eye Center of Lenoir City is seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Licensed Optician to join our busy ophthalmology and optometry practice. If you enjoy helping patients look and see their best while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Fit, adjust, and dispense eyeglasses to patients.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that best meet their visual and lifestyle needs.
- Accurately measure pupillary distance and perform frame adjustments and repairs.
- Place and track eyewear orders with laboratories and vendors.
- Verify prescription accuracy and ensure quality control of finished eyewear.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education.
- Maintain accurate patient records and process orders using electronic medical records and optical software.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, technicians, and other staff to provide an outstanding patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current Optician License (required).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume ophthalmology and optometry practice.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
