In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing deli items, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their deli orders, answering any questions they may have about products.
- Slice, cut, weigh, and package meats, cheeses, and other deli items.
- Maintain proper sanitation and food safety standards at all times.
- Keep the deli counter well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and rotating products.
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers and scales in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a deli, grocery, or food service environment is required.
- Ability to operate deli equipment safely (training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
