Key Responsibilities:
- Receive instructions, prints, and work orders for welding jobs and plan the details of the working procedure.
- Fabricate equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals, ensuring precision and quality.
- Repair equipment using appropriate welding techniques and equipment, contributing to operational efficiency.
- Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded, which is critical for achieving strong welds.
- Set up, assemble, and tack weld parts, ensuring alignment and stability during the welding process.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural Welder in an Oil & Gas manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and Flux-cored welding techniques, with practical application in relevant projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, ensuring accurate execution of welding jobs.
- Experience with carbon steel welding and understanding of associated welding techniques.
