Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes in the Bridgeport , Stratford area. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and a strong understanding of the needs of patients across different stages of care. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting them with daily activities, personal care, and companionship.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities as needed..
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
Qualifications:
- Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Certification in Connecticut (Required).
- Prior experience in companionship care and light housekeeping.
- Friendly, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references.
- Location: Bridgeport, CT (client’s home).
