Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated contractor/ Truck Driver to join our team that lives in near Spring Lake, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short or long distances while maintaining a high level of customer service. Candidate must have an overall clean driving record with no DUIs. Must have DOT MED Card and a valid drivers license along with box truck experience before applying. Be willing to submit to a random U/A. If you don’t posses these things please don’t apply.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring safe and secure transportation while consistently using an ELD.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and operate pallet jacks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or Delivery Driver
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Ability to handle physical workload including heavy lifting
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools and ELD
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
