Position Overview
As a Box Truck Driver, you will safely operate a company-owned 26-foot box truck transporting freight throughout California. Routes may include local deliveries as well as regional overnight trips depending on freight availability and customer demand.
You will serve as the face of Milestone Partners, LLC at every pickup and delivery location. Your professionalism, communication, and attention to detail directly contribute to our reputation and long-term success.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-minded, customer-focused, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-owned 26-foot box truck.
- Complete scheduled local and regional deliveries throughout California.
- Arrive on time for all pickup and delivery appointments.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Verify freight counts before departing pickup locations.
- Inspect freight for visible damage before accepting shipments.
- Properly secure freight to prevent damage during transportation.
- Maintain accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), and all required paperwork.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and any issues encountered during transport.
- Follow customer-specific pickup and delivery procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional truck.
- Immediately report mechanical issues, accidents, delays, or cargo concerns.
- Follow all applicable DOT regulations, California laws, and company policies.
- Represent Milestone Partners, LLC professionally and courteously at all customer and broker locations.
- Protect company equipment and maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver License.
- Applicants with valid CDL preferred
- Clean driving record.
- Previous box truck, delivery, courier, or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and secure freight when required.
- Comfortable using GPS navigation and smartphone applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing the following requirements:
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Provide a valid California Driver License.
- Provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Meet all company hiring requirements.
Compensation & Incentives
We believe exceptional performance deserves exceptional rewards.
Drivers are compensated at 23% of gross load revenue for every completed load. Our performance-based compensation structure rewards productivity, professionalism, and reliability while allowing motivated drivers to increase their earnings through consistent performance.

Drivers who consistently demonstrate exceptional performance may qualify for monthly bonuses based on:
