Snelling Staffing is recruiting for a Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager to join one of Kentucky's premier commercial general contractors. What You'll Do
As the Senior Project Manager, you'll provide leadership from preconstruction through project completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, cost control, and overall financial performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee project planning, subcontractor coordination, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality and safety expectations.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.
- Identify and resolve project risks while maintaining strong client communication.
- Mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and support staff to develop high-performing teams.
- Assist with preconstruction planning, estimating, value engineering, and business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience with a general contractor.
- Proven success managing large commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong experience with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Experience with Procore, Sage/Timberline, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or HH2 is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
