Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a quick, friendly manner
- Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and managing food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is a bonus!
- Knowledge of food preparation, safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy hours
- Ability to work well in a team environment while providing excellent customer service
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Experience in the food industry or retail setting such as grocery stores or cafés is beneficial but not mandatory
