A statewide trade association representing Tennessee's car and truck dealers is seeking a motivated, organized, and creative Manager - Member Services, Communications and Events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating events, creating engaging communications, and helping promote programs that support one of Tennessee's most important industries.

Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate association meetings, conferences, educational seminars, networking events, and member engagement activities.
- Assist with committee meetings by preparing agendas, minutes, meeting materials, and follow-up communications for various Association meetings.
- Develop marketing materials to increase participation in association events, educational programs, and member initiatives.
- Create engaging content for newsletters, email campaigns, social media, websites, and other member communications.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute newsletters, bulletins, promotional materials, and other association publications.
- Design professional presentations, promotional pieces, flyers, and event materials using Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other design tools.
- Assist with developing and maintaining the association's brand across print and digital communications.
- Prepare and file mandated reports with government entities related to legislative activities of the organization.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members by answering questions, responding to requests, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist with membership recruitment, retention, onboarding, and database management.
- Provide administrative support for the association's self-insured Workers' Compensation Trust, including communication with participating employers, coordinating information with trust partners, and supporting trust-related programs and meetings.
- Perform a variety of office administration duties, including maintaining records, processing correspondence, scheduling meetings, ordering office supplies, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the association.
- Support the Executive Team with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Some travel required including 6 days at annual summer conference in Florida, as well as Fall regional meetings across the State.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Two or more years of experience in an association, nonprofit, marketing, communications, customer service, event planning, or administrative role.
- Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for a variety of audiences.
- Experience developing marketing and promotional materials for events, programs, or organizations.
- Proficiency with Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, and/or the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) a plus. Experience with email marketing platforms, website content management systems, or membership databases is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to outstanding member service.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative, small-team environment.
