We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager with Acquisition Expertise to join our team!
Responsibilities

Determine Acquisition Approach: Use DoD 5000 adaptive acquisition framework to select an appropriate approach for a Defense program or programs.
Coordinate Acquisition Documentation: Analyze, assess, and coordinate acquisition program documentation, including Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline, and Acquisition Decision Memorandums.
Ensure Compliance: Leverage expertise in acquisitions to ensure compliance with DoD 5000 series, OMB circulars, Defense Acquisition Guide, and DoD Guide to Planning and Scheduling.
Program Execution
Build Relationships: Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including Resource Sponsor, Requirements Officer, Operational Test Authority, and other relevant parties.
Execute Acquisitions: Execute acquisition requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Develop Acquisition Documents: Create and execute mission-level acquisition strategies, plans, and concepts, as well as develop and evaluate impacts across technical, financial, and integration dimensions.
Operational Support
Provide SME Advice: Offer acquisition subject matter expert (SME) advice and support, including report preparation, paper writing, and briefing development.
Manage Complex Tasks: Coordinate and manage complex tasks with focus on coordination, discretion, and strategic insight.
Support Strategic Communication: Engage with leadership to develop, monitor, and support strategic communication activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Portfolio Management
Align Acquisitions: Provide actionable recommendations to program leadership on deliverables and services, presenting multiple options to enhance decision-making aligned with public interest and program responsibilities.
Evaluate Acquisition Documentation: Evaluate acquisition documentation for policy adherence, strategy alignment, technical approach consistency, and feasibility within cost, schedule, and performance constraints.
Planning and Coordination
Develop Master Schedule: Develop and maintain a master schedule of planning activities with detailed timelines, coordinating with leadership to proactively manage the planning process.
Synchronize Planning Efforts: Ensure synchronization and integration of all strategic planning efforts, contributing to Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development.
Stakeholder Communication
Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain stakeholder communication and coordination, ensuring effective alignment with program objectives.

At least 10 years of government acquisition experience (preferably ACAT I or ACAT II)
Superior verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills
Ability to create, cultivate, and communicate innovative concepts and Courses of Action (COAs)
Extensive program management experience, strategic communication/planning experience, and senior-level acquisition experience
Expert knowledge of the DoD protocol, acquisition, operational, and project management processes and policies.
Program Management Professional (PMP), DAWIA PM Level II, or equivalent certification preferred
U.S. citizenship required
Secret clearance (TS preferred)
Salary range: $100,000-$160,000/year depending on experience and qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
