Job Details
- Deliver designated freight regionally to California.
- Guaranteed pay between 11-1200 weekly
- Will be home every 1-2 weeks with two days off weekly. This can vary just depending how much a driver wants to stay out. Completely negotiable.
Experience
- Proven experience pulling a trailer of 30 feet or longer.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 1-2 years of recent experience
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures for manual handling tasks
- Familiarity with driving heavy-duty trucks in regional settings
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues during routes
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check

- Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety, including checking for mechanical issues and verifying load securement.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (e.g., hazmat, tanker).
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route management within a regional setting.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks or other specialized freight equipment.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving.
- Ability to manually handle cargo loads safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual techniques.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and navigation accuracy.
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures including load & unload operations.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred.
- Ability to adhere to all safety protocols during loading/unloading operations and while on the road.
