Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair appliance issues, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances and mechanical systems with precision, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct troubleshooting using schematics and technical diagrams to identify faults quickly and efficiently.
- Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks across multiple locations while maintaining proper documentation of service activities.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects such as construction or renovation efforts involving mechanical systems or HVAC upgrades.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across various systems including HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen appliances.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for complex mechanical or electrical systems.
- Experience operating equipment such as lifts or power tools safely within construction or maintenance environments.
- Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients or team members regarding repairs or system issues.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations including MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) practices is highly desirable.
