Our clinic is seeking an outgoing, friendly, customer service-oriented Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant who is able to multitask and maintain a positive, “can do” attitude in a busy environment. Must have outstanding customer service and confident communication skills. This position involves blood draws, giving IM injections, answering patient questions, and calling in prescriptions, and occasionally assisting the physicians. We are looking for a dynamic, smart, compassionate, and empathetic individual to work approximately 22-30 hours per week in a fast paced, energetic environment. This position requires strong attention to detail and accelerated mental agility. Looking for someone who possesses excellent phlebotomy skills.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum one year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist
- Minimum one year of experience administering IM injections and performing blood draws
- Ability to promote and demonstrate a healthy lifestyle
- Computer proficiency with special focus on Word, Excel & EMR services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with greeting patients and answering phones
- Awareness of and/or interest in natural medicine, herbs, and vitamins
- IV training & certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days of employment
- Someone who excels in phlebotomy skills
