Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay Range: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour DOE
The Operation Specialist plays a key role in ensuring high service levels for all shipments by maintaining accurate tracking, updating shipment statuses, and supporting overall logistics operations.
- Track, trace, and monitor shipments, ensuring accurate and timely updates
- Document shipment activity with detailed notes and status updates
- Process customer information related to transportation, billing, and collections
- Monitor communication channels (web, fax, voicemail) for shipment updates
- Maintain data for customers, markets, and operational processes
- Support coordinators, supervisors, and managers with operational needs
- Identify and escalate issues that may impact shipment performance
- Verify and confirm service provider charges
- Ensure accuracy of accessorial charges and shipment costs
- Assist with operational, sales, contract, and billing processes
- Follow company security procedures (C-TPAT & TSA compliance)
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
