Job Summary
The Warehouse & Production Operations associate plays a key role in order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations, working closely with the Warehouse Manager to maintain efficient day-to-day workflows. This position involves picking, packing, and preparing customer orders, managing inventory, and receiving incoming shipments, while also supporting cross-functional activities tied to production — assisting the Production Lead with tasks such as batch preparation, filling, and boxing during canning runs. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical warehouse work.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assemble and kit product sets by picking and packaging the correct components for each kit type
- Label cans, boxes, and shipments according to company standards
- Verify order accuracy before shipment
- Support the Warehouse Manager with daily pick, pack, and inventory priorities as directed
- Receive and store raw materials and components to support shop operations
- Help receive and count incoming ocean shipments
- Restock finished goods into inventory after canning
- Monitor shelf-life storage and maintain proper rotation of stock
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits
- Operate a pallet jack to move materials
- Lift, move, stack, and organize materials (up to 50 lbs.)
- Load and unload shipments safely
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Assist with filling, sealing, and boxing cans during production runs
- Support the Production Lead with batch preparation and mixing tasks as directed
- Assist with basic in-process checks during production runs (visual inspection, flagging inconsistencies to the Production Lead)
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements when working on the production floor
- Cross-train in warehouse and production tasks
- Occasional weeknights and/or weekends may be required
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Previous warehouse or production experience preferred but not required
- Forklift experience is a plus
