Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Sr Java Developer with proven expertise in E-Trading systems to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated trading platforms that facilitate electronic trading activities across global markets. Your deep understanding of Java, distributed systems, and E-Trading workflows will drive innovative solutions that enhance performance, scalability, and reliability. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of E-Trading platforms using Java, ensuring high performance and scalability in a distributed computing environment.
- Design system architecture and application components with a focus on system design principles, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure integration (AWS, Azure).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement UI components using React, React Express, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript for intuitive front-end experiences.
- Develop backend services utilizing Java technologies such as Spring Boot, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), and Web services to support real-time trading operations.
- Integrate various databases including relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB for efficient data management.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, TFS, SVN, and Jenkins to streamline development workflows and ensure continuous delivery.
- Conduct thorough unit testing, debugging, and system testing to maintain code quality and reliability in accordance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Java development within E-Trading or financial trading environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and system design for high-frequency trading platforms.
- Proficiency with front-end development frameworks including React.js, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, XML for creating responsive UI interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration of web services such as SOAP and WCF.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), containerization (Docker), and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub, TFS, SVN; experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Skilled in database design and management using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL; experience with PL/SQL and T-SQL scripting.
- Ability to work effectively in Linux environments; experience with shell scripting (Bash), XSLT transformations, and application debugging techniques.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles including UML modeling, OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), UML diagrams for system design.
