Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure that linen is washed, dried, folded, and put away. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure that spots/stains are caught and treated before setting in. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality setting where cleanliness and guest satisfaction are top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Empty the linen chute, sorting laundry as it comes down.
- Checking for stains before the linen is washed so that it can be pre-treated
- Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate equipment and cleaning supplies provided
- Stocking the shelves in the laundry room as well as the linen closets so housekeepers are set up for success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Previous hotel experience or experience in hospitality settings is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
