Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate plastic molding machines (injection, blow, or compression molding).
- Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent product quality and performance.
- Inspect finished products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or improper dimensions.
- Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, speed) to maintain optimal performance.
- Load raw materials (resins, pellets, etc.) into machines.
- Remove finished products from molds and trim excess material if necessary.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report mechanical problems to maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery.
- Maintain production records, including output, scrap rates, and downtime.
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in plastic manufacturing or machine operation is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret basic production instructions and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials (often 25–50 lbs).
Work Environment
- Manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.
- Working early hours (5am), overtime and may work weekends.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
