Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers to ensure optimal results
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures following health and safety standards
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning techniques
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as trash removal and outdoor surface cleaning when required
- Use cleaning detergents effectively while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and chemical use
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual tasks efficiently
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled timeframes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and detergents used in various environments
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning tasks effectively
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
