Preschool Teacher Assistant Position
Sunnyvale close to downtown, HWY 101, 237, and 85
Part time start 9:00-12:30 Monday-Friday with the possibility of more hours.
Working with ages 2-5 , sometimes younger than 2.
· Compensation: paid Holidays, sick days, and a competitive rate based on Early Childhood Education and experience.
Pay of $20-23/ hour
Qualifications: One year of experience with preschool aged children preferred.
Functions:
· Ensure children's health and safety
Planning and implementing activities
· Maintaining a clean and organized facility
· Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Physical demands:
· Observe and respond quickly to a potential emergency
· Pay close attention to the group
· Ability to stand, walk, sit on the floor, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
· Assist in daily routine/personal hygiene of children
