Nova Spine and Pain Care is a growing, patient-focused interventional pain management practice seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant to join our exceptional team.
This position requires travel between our Lawrenceville and Alpharetta offices and offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians in both the clinic and procedure settings. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, being able to multitask efficiently, and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient information
- Assist physicians during office visits and interventional pain procedures
- Operate and position the fluoroscopy (C-arm) during procedures (training available for the right candidate)
- Prepare procedure rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Stock exam and procedure rooms with necessary supplies
- Review daily schedules to ensure patients are appropriately scheduled and charts are prepared
- Respond to patient communications, including voicemail, email, and other correspondence
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Work collaboratively with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and an exceptional patient experience
- Occasionally assist in other roles/capacity within the office to assist other departments when needed
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience required
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, surgery, or procedural specialties preferred
- Experience operating a fluoroscopy (C-arm) is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to travel between the Lawrenceville and Alpharetta offices

Pay: Starting at $19–$21 per hour (based on experience)
