Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Truck Accessory Installer to join our team. The Truck Accessory Installer is responsible for installing a variety of aftermarket accessories on trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This position requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to use hand and power tools safely, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Install aftermarket truck accessories including bed liners, tonneau covers, running boards, grille guards, lift kits, leveling kits, hitches, toolboxes, lighting, mud flaps, steps, winches, and other vehicle accessories.

Read and interpret installation instructions and technical diagrams.

Perform basic electrical wiring for lighting and accessory installations.

Measure, drill, cut, and modify components as needed for proper installation.

Inspect completed installations to ensure quality, safety, and proper operation.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

Identify and report damaged or defective parts prior to installation.

Assist with inventory management by receiving, organizing, and stocking products.

Follow all company safety policies and manufacturer installation guidelines.

Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers when necessary.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
This position is performed primarily in an automotive shop or warehouse setting. Employees will regularly work around vehicles, power tools, and mechanical equipment while adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous experience in automotive, mechanical, fabrication, or truck accessory installation is preferred but not required.

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

Basic understanding of automotive electrical systems is a plus.

Ability to read and follow technical instructions.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.

Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.

Work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Ability to safely operate shop equipment and work around vehicles.
