About Center for Social Change
The Center for Social Change (CSC) is a private non-profit organization that supports children and adults with Intellectual Disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. CSC is a strong advocate for personal choices in community living for individuals who are developmentally, physically, psychological, and emotionally challenged .
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Maryland
- High School Diploma
- Current CPR/First Aid training
- Phlebotomy Skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Under immediate supervision, supports providers in provision of patient care; includes recording vital signs, discussing chief health concerns, performing testing, and administering injections; assists with procedures and documentation.
- Put in measures in the assigned ALUs to ensure that individuals are well groomed and receive proper hygiene every day – this includes bathing, changing diapers, and related activities.
- Assist with household chores in the assigned ALUs to ensure that individuals have high quality living conditions – this includes cooking, laundry, and related activities.
- Drive company assigned vehicle to include medical appointments for persons served and any other activities as directed by supervisor.
Pay: $36.00 per hour
